This is a concept for a modular sofa. The individual modules can be arranged in various configurations, transforming a space and creating forms ranging from a flowing snake-like shape to a closed, elongated torus. The sofa is designed for public spaces, showrooms, offices, and hospitality environments.
The design is inspired by inflatable swimming rings as well as the brutalist urban forms. It combines modularity and geometric clarity with the sculptural roughness of brutalist architecture and soft, rounded contours, resulting in a clean yet inviting modular seating system. Ergonomic bevels at the base of each module provide additional comfort for users by creating more space for the feet while seated.
